Case Study
Repeatable 8-channel gravimetric dispense performance.
Gravimetric testing showed low within-channel variation and tight channel-to-channel agreement across all 8 channels.
Summary
The measured data shows strong repeatability and close channel-to-channel agreement, with a small consistent offset suitable for calibration refinement.

To evaluate multi-channel dispense consistency, we carried out a gravimetric test across all 8 channels at a nominal 100 µL target per dispense.
Each channel was tested repeatedly under the same conditions, generating 10 measurements per channel. The results showed strong repeatability within each channel and close agreement between channels overall.
Across the dataset, pooled within-channel CV was approximately 0.16%, while the CV of channel means was approximately 0.18%. The overall combined CV across all readings was approximately 0.22%. Channel averages fell within a narrow band, with around 0.52 µL separating the highest and lowest mean channel outputs.
All channels showed a small negative bias relative to the 100 µL target, indicating a consistent systematic offset rather than unstable dispensing behaviour. In practice, this suggests the platform is behaving consistently across channels, and channel matching can be improved further through calibration rather than requiring fundamental mechanical correction.
These results demonstrate repeatable multi-channel performance for liquid handling workflows and provide a strong basis for continued calibration and verification across additional volumes, liquids, and consumables.
